A lucky Massachusetts state lottery player from Longmeadow wins a big
A $1 million lottery prize was sold in Western Massachusetts and claimed on Monday by a Massachusetts State Lottery player.
The $1 million prize was from the lottery’s crossword scratch ticket game called “$2,000,000 50X Cashword,” which was released on June 27, 2023 and costs $10 per ticket.
The winning ticket was sold at a Pride Station & Store in East Longmeadow. Additionally, a lottery player won $100,000 on Monday during the daily “Mass Cash” drawing; the winning numbers for the drawing were 9, 11, 14, 22 and 35.
The winning ticket was sold in New Bedford from Miguel’s Restaurant. Overall, there were at least 737 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 14 in Springfield and 31 in Worcester.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
