An area resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Shelton, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Tuesday, a Bridgeport resident won $10,000 playing a "PLAY4" game.
The winning ticket was purchased from Alhamwi Enterprises LLC in Shelton, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as a public record.
The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.
