A fortunate Harford County guy scoops a big jackpot recently

The first jackpot-winning Multi-Match lottery ticket of 2024 has been sold in Harford County. But the winner hasn't yet come forward, Maryland Lottery officials say.

As of Tuesday, the newest multimillionaire in Maryland hasn't claimed the $2.1 million winning ticket bought in the Monday drawing.

The winning ticket with the numbers 8, 15, 18, 30, 36 and 38 was bought at Klein’s ShopRite #551, 1321 Riverside Parkway in Belcamp.

The Multi-Match winner can choose between the annuity, paid in 25 equal installments, or an estimated $1.24 million cash option before taxes. Klein’s ShopRite #551 will receive a $2,100 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a safe location. Players have 182 days after the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
