A winning lottery ticket worth $390,000 was recently sold in Hamden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Hamden resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $390,000 on a Lucky for Life ticket that was sold at Minute Mart at 280 Circular Avenue in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.

The winning numbers were: 17-31-33-38-46 and the Lucky Ball was 17. The player had all the numbers but the Lucky Ball on the ticket, CT Lottery officials said.

The game costs $2 to play and drawings take place nightly at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
