A lucky guy from Publix wins $1 million in Powerball lottery

One lucky player won $1 million in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, as the jackpot continues to grow.

At 10:59 p.m., the Florida Lottery drew five white balls that matched one player’s ticket. Those numbers were 12, 13, 34, 44, and 67.

The Powerball was 8 but the winner did not match that number. Therefore, the estimated jackpot of $184 million is still up for grabs during the next drawing.

Although this winner did not play the Powerball’s Double Play, those numbers were 36, 40, 41, 50, and 60, with Powerball number 13.

The winning $1 million Quick Pick ticket was purchased at a Palm Coast Publix, located at 250 Palm Coast Parkway Northeast.

Each Powerball ticket costs $2, with an option to add Double Play for $1 extra. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-24.87.
