A fortunate Upstate guy wins $300,000 recently in a lottery game

A woman who just won $300 on a scratch-off lottery ticket said she’s “saving it for a rainy day.”
The winning $10 Rolling Jackpot ticket was sold at Hot Spot on Gentry Memorial Highway. “I looked it over a couple of times to be sure,” the lucky winner said.
“It was exciting.” Her win leaves one more $300,000 top prize out there waiting to be claimed. Hot Spot in Pickens received a $3,000 commission for the sale.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
