A customer of Worcester shop wins $1 million in Massachusetts lottery
Someone bought a winning $1 million lottery ticket at shop in Worcester and claimed their prize on Monday.
The $1 million prize was from “$4,000,000 Money Bags,” a $10 game released Aug. 2, 2022. There’s just one $1 million prize remaining to be claimed in the game as of Nov. 26, and all four $4 million prize have been claimed.
The winning ticket was sold in Worcester at a store called ABC Mini Market. Additionally, two lottery players claimed $100,000 prizes on Monday. One of the winning tickets was from the “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket game and was sold at a Raynham gas station called Gas 44.
The other was from the “Millions” game, and was sold at JJ Beverage of Braintree. Overall, at least 696 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 21 in Springfield, 29 in Worcester and 55 in Boston.
