A Cheshire package store's customer wins a big jackpot in Mass lottery
A Massachusetts State Lottery player in Berkshire County struck it rich on Thursday with the purchase of a $1 million winning ticket.
The ticket was sold at Green Acres Package & Variety in Cheshire on Thursday in the game $1,000,000 Snow Much Money.
The $5 scratch ticket of $1,000,000 Snow Much Money sports four winning numbers and scratch-off prizes are displayed in the middle of the ticket.
There started with three $1,000,000 winners, two of which have been claimed, according to the lottery. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.14 while odds of winning the $1,000,000 prize are 1 in 3,360,000.
Overall, there were at least 622 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Thursday, including seven in Springfield and 18 in Worcester.
