A mega millions lottery player from Temecula scoops a big jackpot recently

If you bought a Mega Millions California Lottery ticket in Temecula this week, pay attention.

A ticket matching five numbers, missing the Mega number, in Tuesday evening's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery, was sold at a market in Temecula, the California Lottery announced.

That ticket was worth approximately $85,202. Another ticket with five numbers but missing the Mega number was sold at a gas station in American Canyon, about 35 miles northeast of San Francisco, and is also worth $85,202.

The ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold in Virginia is worth $3 million because the player utilized the Megaplier option, where for an additional $1 any non-jackpot prize is multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.
