A big winning cash 5 lottery ticket is sold out in Wilmington

Someone in Wilmington is $200,000 richer thanks to a winning Cash 5 lottery ticket. In a social media post, the NC Education lottery congratulated two Cash 5 players who won big on Jan. 7.
One of the players bought a winning ticket from the Masonboro Country Store on Masonboro Loop Rd. in Wilmington.
That player won a $200,757 prize. The other player purchased a winning ticket from Harris Teeter on Town Center Dr. in Mooresville. They won $50,000 with Double Play.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
