A big Massachusetts state lottery ticket is sold out in Holyoke
A winning $1 million lottery ticket sold from a convenience store in Holyoke was claimed on Wednesday, leaving just one $1 million prize and one grand prize left in the lottery game to be claimed, the Massachusetts State Lottery announced.
The lottery player bought their winning scratch ticket for $10 from the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” game.
The $1 million ticket was purchased at Stop & Go in Holyoke, the lottery’s site stated. There is now one $1 million prize still left in the game to be claimed, and one grand prize worth $2 million still to be claimed.
There have been nine $1 million tickets claimed since the game’s release on June 27, 2022, and four $2 million grand prize tickets claimed.
Overall, there were at least 590 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including 15 in Springfield and 14 in Worcester.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
