A big $2 million winning lottery ticket is sold out in Gary

Someone bought a Powerball ticket in Gary Wednesday night that lottery officials say is worth $2 million. The ticket was purchased at Brady’s on 25th Ave. in Gary.
The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday’s drawing were 1-20-36-38-43 with the Powerball of 24 and a power play of 2x.
Lottery officials say someone matched all five of the white balls, but did not get the Powerball. The jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing is $263 million.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw.
