A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Montgomery County sold a Powerball® with Double Play® ticket worth $500,000 for the Saturday, Oct. 14 drawing.
The ticket matched five of the five Double Play® balls drawn, 13-21-33-46-50, but not the Double Play® Powerball® number 23, to win $500,000, less applicable withholding.
Weis Markets, 1551 Valley Forge Road, Upper Gwynedd, earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Pennsylvania Lottery introduced the Double Play® feature when it launched a third weekly drawing on Mondays in August 2021. Drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
