A $10,000 winning lottery ticket is sold out in West Islip Store
One lucky West Islip customer is starting this week with an extra pep in their step.
The New York Lottery announced that a winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $10,352.50 was sold at OM Popular C&G, located at 522 Union Blvd. in West Islip.
The ticket was for Saturday's midday drawing. Another ticket, also worth $10,352.50 was sold in Manhattan. The winning numbers are: 5-11-17-18-31.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
