$50 Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket made Largo woman win $1 million, the woman will soon be $1 million times richer than before.
Amy Lemley, who is 69 years old, purchased a 500X The Cash scratch-off game for $50 from a Wawa on Ulmerton Road in Largo when she claimed the $1 million prize, according to the Florida Lottery.
She decided to receive her winnings as a one time lump sum and took home the amount of $820,000.
The retailer will receive a bonus of $2,000 for selling the winning lottery ticket.
The 500X The Cash scratch-off game features a top prize of $25 million, the Florida Lottery says.
