A lucky Powerball player in Texas is holding a $2 million winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing, and it was sold at a Tom Thumb grocery store near NorthPark Center.

The winning numbers were 5, 9, 35, 54, 63, with 7 as the red Powerball.

The ticket didn’t hit the massive $856 million jackpot, but it matched all five white-ball numbers with the Power Play option, turning the standard $1 million prize into a $2 million payday.

More than 140,000 tickets in Texas won prizes in the drawing, ranging from $4 to $150,000. However, this $2 million ticket was the state’s top prize winner.

Don’t Wait to Claim It

The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize. Because the ticket is worth more than $1 million, the winner must claim it at a designated Texas Lottery claim center or at the Texas Lottery headquarters in Austin.

The claim deadline is February 4, 2027.
