$1 million won by Two Fort Myers man in scratch-off ticket

Two Fort Myers men each won $1 million from the new 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game.

Wesley Sanek, 39, and Michael Murray, 63, of Fort Myers, both claimed their big prizes at the Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office.

Sanek purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 1981 North Tamiami Trail in Naples. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Murray purchased his winning ticket from Bruno’s Food Store, located at 15600 McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.

He also chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
