$1 million win for New York resident in Powerball draw

A New York City resident won $1 million with a second-prize Powerball ticket.

The New York Lottery announced that the Powerball ticket was purchased at sold at Flatbush Gas, Inc. on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn for Saturday’s drawing.

It had five matching numbers.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing are white balls 14, 20, 30, 54, and 69, and red Powerball 11.

Powerball tickets can be purchased at any New York Lottery retailer for $2, seven days a week.

The deadline for purchasing a ticket is 9:45 p.m. on draw nights.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, and the New York Lottery urges players to buy tickets early to avoid last-minute lines.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69.

The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for the drawing to be held Wednesday night is an estimated $526 million.
