$1 million New York Lottery’s scratch off lottery ticket sold in Mineola, the winner of the lottery ticket will soon be $1 million times richer than before.
Carlos Salmeron Granados of Mineola bought his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 207 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.
He won the lottery whole playing New York Lottery’s Multiplier Money scratch-off game, lottery officials announced Wednesday.
When he went to claim the prize he was offered with two choices, either to take a lump sum or get installments of the prize.
He decided to receive a one-time, lump sum payment totaling $546,840 after required taxes and withholdings.
